To those of you who have added one of
my puppies to you family, Thank you for giving them wonderful homes and 'sharing' them with me!
My fiance and I recently lost our 6 month old
sheltie, and were debating whether when and if we
should get another sheltie. I began looking on puppyfind.com and was very interested in Patti's
dog. They were the cutest ones on the website,
they seemed happy, and well taken care of. I also
vistied her website, and it was the most impressive
as well. It was organized and had so much
information on it that was helpful to me and my
finance when trying to decide which people to go
with. I decided to give Patti a call. She was so
friendly and so helpful, and reassured me that even
if I did not choose to go with her that I need to go
with my gut feeling. This was so helpful. She not
only informed me about her puppies, but also
included to tell me which other breeders she would
recommend in the area. This right there proved to
me that she does not breed shelties to make money,
she does it for the love of the breed. She was willing
to meet us half way, but we decided that we
wanted to go there since we couldn't really decide
which puppy to have her bring since they were all
adorable. She was very accomidating and made
herself available to us on a Sunday afternoon. Her
kennel was bright warm inside. They were clean
and was organized inside with which puppies were
for sale, which weren't, and the moms and dads.
She knew lots of information on all the dogs
including the parents and the backgrounds of them.
She spent a lot of time with us since we wanted to
be sure we were making the right decision. She made
us feel very comfortable and did not pressure us. We
finally decided on a beautifl tri female named Callie.
She was such a sweetie and was just what we were
looking for. She sent us home with plenty of dog food
to get started with, a toy, and a binder full of helpful
information. I was so suprised at how organized she
was considering she had about 10 little puppies all in
her care. Even after we bought the dog she has called
us several times to check in on Callie, and was more
than willing to answer any questions we have. I would
definetly buy another dog from her in a heart beat.
Thank you Patti!

I purchased a puppy from LD Legacies in April of
this year (2007). This was the first time I had looked
on the internet for a puppy. I first contacted Patti by
email and then spoke with her over the phone. I was
delighted with her friendly manner, knowledge of
shelties and the concern she had with placing the puppies
in the proper home. Additionally I was impressed with
the health guarantee and the puppy package she offered.
I felt very welcome visiting her home to see the puppies
and was delighted that Cassie (Dam) and Fluffy (Dam’s
aunt) came right up to see us, tails wagging. I was looking
for a future agility and obedience prospect as well as a family companion and I found him at LD Legacies. Yuki is
6 months old now and he is wonderful! Eager to please
and sharp as a tack, he has taken to training like a natural
and has never met a stranger. He already has the basic obedience commands down pat and is working on his
agility foundations. My next sheltie will definitely come
from LD Legacies! I can be contacted at
nancy37@hotmail.com and will be happy to share my
experience buying from LD Legacies with you. Yuki is by

Unsurpassed quality and knowledge!
With so many puppies on the internet it is so important to
find a breeder who you can trust to produce quality,
well- socialized, healthy puppies. Patti offers not only a
beautiful representation of the sheltie breed standard,
but a GREAT combo of family-socialization in a small
kennel setting. Her pups develop under knowledgable
care, family play time, only to retire their own clean,
comfy little kennel in the back yard. As a wonderful
bonus Patti puts together a beautiful, embellished,
"scrap book" filled with info & pics. A lot of time and
love goes into that book! You can tell her heart-and-soul
is in her shelties which is what makes LD Legacies the
type of breeder I would trust to purchase from. Patti
offers the buyer the most positive, fun, and informative
experience involved in finding that special little puppy
along with the peace-of-mind in dealing with a quality,
reputable breeder. Great quality, great support-no
surprises!! Jane-MI with 'Sophie'
When I lost my senior dog in June, 2007 I did
extensive research to find a breeder. The breeder
where I purchased my last four Shelties was no longer
in business. I have owned 7 Shelties over 30 years,
and since our dogs are very much a part of our family,
I was not willing to purchase a puppy from someone
who simply produced puppies for the income. I located
LD Legacies Shetland Sheepdogs on the internet and
contacted Patti Miller to see if she had any puppies
available. I was very impressed with Patti's concern
for the dogs that she owned and her concern that her
puppies go to a good home. She was very open and
honest about how she raised her dogs, and seemed
very proud of the care that she gave them. She
welcomed all my questions, sent me updated pictures
of the puppy in which were interested, and invited us to visit her home before making a final decision. When we left
Patti's home with our 8 week old "Toby", we left with
an adorable, healthy quality little Sheltie well on his
way to being well socialized. The effort that Patti put
forth to prepare this puppy for a new home has made
our job so much easier. Before we reached home that
night, Patti had sent us an e-mail checking to see how
Toby had done. She has been in contact with us often
since that day to see how he is doing Without any
reservation, I recommend LD Legacies Shetland
Sheepdogs and Patti Miller for anyone that is looking
for a healthy, well adjusted Sheltie puppy to be a life
time companion. Larry Richards in Iowa with 'Toby'.
Spot has been an absolutly wonderful addition to our
family. We already have a Shetland Sheepdog named Izzy.
Spot and Izzy are best friends. Spot is out going, well
socialized and has a wonderful personality. He loves to play,
run and swim on the beaches of Lake Superior. He already
knows his manors on a leash and in the house. He was easily
house trained and came kennel trained. He loves to be held,
loved, played with. He loves the UPS man and the bank which
both provide treats. He goes for long 3 to 6 hour car rides
and does very well. He warms up to others easily. He loves to
chase chipmunks and squirrel but does not bark when chasing.
He also is quiet in the house unless Izzy starts to bark
because someone has arrived then he will join in the
celebration of new friends to love. I plan to purchase a third
puppy this year from LD Legacies when the right one is
available. Thankyou Cheryl with Spot in Wi. (TrissyXMurphy)
We had lost our wonderful sheltie after 15 years and were heart broken. I was browsing the internet and thought I would look up Shelties and see what it said about them. Never did I thing that I would buy a dog on the internet. I happened upon Patti's page and loved both her puppies and her attitude. I looked
further and found a mass amount of ads for shelties.
So I started contacting some including Patti. We have
a breeder right here in my own town and I called and
spoke with her. I didn't feel that I was really ready
to replace Spring or that I had found a breeder that I could connect with, but I did make one more call. After
speaking with Patti and listening to the genuine love for
her dogs and the care that she puts into the breeding
and after care of them I had to have one. My children
and husband thought that I had lost it sending to Iowa
for a dog when we had a well known breeder here.
From the first second they changed their minds. This
puppy was wonderful. He had been socialized
beautifully. He arrived here and 3 hours later I had
him at the vets for an exam to make sure that the
flight had not harmed him. Our vet could not get over
what a wonderful temperament and how well he was
doing socializing in such a short time. He house trained
in a very short order and if I do say is a well behaved
pup. I would be more then happy to recommend these
puppies and would be glad to speak or email with you at
any time. Lana in Colorado with Dalton
